GDI Construction Yard

 

 

Deployed from our MCV, the Construction yard is the heart of your base. It controls building of our structures and defences, and without it we would not be able to repair or renew our buildings. It provides a small amount of power in itself, however to power a standard base extra Power Plants will be required. It can also be undeployed into our MCV. Guard this building well, for without it, our bases will have a hard time repelling attacks.

Upgrade Center

 

 

If the construction yard is the heart of the base, then the Upgrade Center is the bones. Fitted with 4 Upgrade Slots, this building can be used for power, for superweapons, even to reduce the cost and time of building. However, for each one of these, it needs a plug, and the building itself isn't as sturdy as the construction yard, although they can stand up for a bit of punishment before being destroyed. The list of upgrades are as follows:

Power Turbine: Provides 100 Power.

Ion Turbine: Provides 250 Power.

Ion Cannon Uplink: Ion Cannon Superweapon.

Dropship Reinforcements: GDI Tank Paradrop.

Droppod Reinforcements: GDI Infantry Paradrop.

Firestorm Node: Firestorm Wall Superweapon.

Threat Rating Node: Threat Rating Logic.

Infantry Cost Reduction: As Industrial Plant, 0.80.

Vehicle Cost Reduction: As Industrial Plant, 0.80.

Aircraft Cost Reduction: As Industrial Plant, 0.80.

Defences Cost Reduction: As Industrial Plant, 0.80.

Building Cost Reduction: As Industrial Plant, 0.80.

Barracks

 

 

This is where we recruit and train our soldiers. Because of that, it's one of the most important structures of our base. We always need more troops for the frontline.

---UPGRADES---

Infantry Heal: Once the barracks is upgraded with this, all of our infantry will slowly auto-heal. If you have extra barracks and you upgrade each one, the effect is cumulative.

Tiberium Refinery

 

 

This is where the bulk of our money comes from. When built, it deploys a harvester to go and search for tiberium fields. The harvester collects the tiberium, and dumps it at the refinery, which then processes it and transfers the credits to your account.

---UPGRADES---

Enhanced Purifier: When the refinery processes the tiberium, there is a fair amount that gets incinerated as waste materials. For each one of these that you have, the refinery refines the tiberium a bit more, so you get more per harvester bail. It's cumulative across all of your refineries, so if you have 3 refineries and they all have two of these, it all stacks.

War Factory

You've already seen the barracks where we train our men (and women) of our fighting force. Well, here's where the vehicles are constructed. Once you have one of these built you can pump out some of the top mechanised machines known to mankind. It comes with a free (vehicle) to help defend the base.

---UPGRADES---

Auto-Repair: Much like Infantry Heal, this allows your vehicles to automatically repair themselves while on active duty, thus reducing the strain on your service depot. Again, this stacks for however many of these you have.
